Ohio with Bob

On friday night the boys and GIRLS cross county team came over for dinner. Tonya cooked macaroni and cheese for about 25 high schoolers. Something like 8 pounds of pasta and 8 pounds of Velveeta cheese plus milk. Bob had to get the pan in and out of the oven for Tonya. It was fun hanging with the girls... I liked the short running shorts they had on.
LOL!!

I went with Bob to work one night and let me tell you, staying up all night was not easy. I couldn't wait until lunch time so I could take a little 'cat' nap. Before lunch, I got a quick tour of the building complex. You know it takes awhile to walk a 280,000 sq ft office complex! We did a few little odd jobs and then it was lunch time. After lunch I got to look around the mechanical plant. Wow! This place has four (4) 650 ton chillers. That's a lot of cold water. Bob said that typically only one or two at a time is normal. I should have put ear plugs in, it was a little noisy in the room. But than again, maybe no louder than Bob's HK's! LOL!!

After changing out the sulfuric acid barrel (I stayed away from that) we went to the generator room. Oh-baby! Tim Allen eat you heart out... (grunt, grunt). POWER!!!! Three (3), V16 caterpillar diesel powered generators. I can't remember the KW output, but who cares, V16 motors! Bob wouldn't let me start them though, it would show up in the log reports and I guess I really didn't want to get him in trouble.

But I did take a good look around and I thought I found a small oil leak from up around the valve cover. Bob said they would have to wait until the next time they got run and see if it was dripping. Wouldn't you know it, the weather for the next week was calm, no storms arhhh!

Eric B. rode to town and we enjoyed a nice home cooked dinner that Tonya prepared. Hung out for awhile and talked. Bob, Tonya and Eric met in Asheville 2000 and 2001, it was good for them to catch up, then Bob drove Eric and I back to the Super 8 Hotel.

Thanks for the great time, Bob!
Meow, baby!
Now I'm off to...
