New Jersey with Eric

Eric and I left the Super 8 early on a gorgeous Sunday morning. The weather was cool, but the bright sunshine said we’d have a great day of riding ahead. Here I am ready to go.

We rode from Ohio and into Pennsylvania, climbing up and over the Allegheny Mountains and the Poconos and through the Delaware Water Gap into New Jersey. The Fall colors were spectacular. For an all-day ride, I never wanted for some great scenery. After arriving at Eric’s place and meeting the family (more teenage girls!), I was ready for a nap. Four hundred miles will tire out even the toughest tiger!

Speaking of tired tigers, this Eric guy is another one who works at night! When he put me on the bike at 11 pm, I though we were just going for a little evening ride, but NO… We were going to WORK!

Eric works at a 911 dispatch center that handles calls for paramedics for northeastern NJ. It’s a pretty busy place and I didn’t get time for a nap. He put me to work.

Look at all those buttons! Here I am at the microphone telling people where to go. I could get used to this!

I was supposed to meet some other MIGs and move on, but stuff happened and the weather kinda got in the way. I decided to hibernate at Eric’s place for the winter. He kept me well fed, though, and I enjoyed the holidays with the family.

Spring finally showed up in mid-March. We got in a nice ride to the famous New Jersey Shore (“down the shore” as they say here). No bikinis to be found, but it was nice to visit the ocean!

Keeping an eye out for bikinis.

Me with Don Guy (MIG 2882) and Eric (MIG 379) during Erics Spring MIG ride. I'm leaving New Jersey (See Ya Eric!) and heading to...

Canada with Don!
